Google Analytics 4
Connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to Trackful to send your events server-side via the Measurement Protocol, alongside your client-side tracking.
Connect GA4
From the Trackful dashboard, open the Google Analytics 4 page. You can connect the channel in two ways:
- One-click connect (OAuth, recommended): authorize Trackful with no key copy-pasting.
- Manual setup: paste a Measurement ID and a Measurement Protocol API secret.
After connecting, select the GA4 property and the data stream to use.
Verify tracking
- Send a test event from the GA4 page.
- Check delivery in your platform's interface (real-time / debug reports).
- Once confirmed, toggle the channel on for continuous tracking.
How it works
- Events are sent server-side, which makes them more resilient to browser blocking and anti-tracking extensions.
- Sensitive customer data is hashed before any send.
- Server-side tracking complements your existing client-side setup, it does not replace it.
Once the channel is on, your conversions are uploaded automatically and continuously.
