Installing the app

Trackful installs from the Shopify App Store in a few minutes, with no code required. This guide walks you from installation through connecting your first ad channels.

Before you start

All you need is admin access to your Shopify store. No technical skills are required, and installation takes about 5 minutes.

Step 1: install from the Shopify App Store

Open the Trackful listing on the Shopify App Store, then click Install. Shopify uses managed installation: you simply approve the requested access, and the app opens directly inside your Shopify admin.

The requested access covers:

  • orders,
  • customers,
  • write pixels,
  • customer events.

Step 2: automatic provisioning

As soon as you install, Trackful sets everything up for you automatically:

  • your store is provisioned in Trackful;
  • the required webhooks are registered (order creation, order paid, app uninstall, plus the mandatory GDPR webhooks);
  • the Web Pixel is activated.

Tracking therefore starts immediately, with nothing else to configure.

Step 3: after installation

Open Trackful from your Shopify admin to finish the setup:

  1. Enable the Click Tracker (theme embed) for the best attribution. See Web Pixel and Click Tracker.
  2. Connect an ad channel, for example Google Ads.
