Google Ads

Connect Google Ads to Trackful to send your conversions server-side with a better match rate, even when client-side cookies are blocked.

Connect Google Ads

From the Trackful dashboard, open the Google Ads page. You can connect the channel in two ways:

  • One-click connect (OAuth, recommended): authorize Trackful to access your Google Ads account, with no key copy-pasting.
  • Manual setup: paste the requested credentials if you prefer not to use OAuth.

After connecting, select your Google Ads account, then create or select a Conversion Action. Then send a test event to confirm delivery, and toggle the channel on.

Enhanced Conversions

Trackful sends your purchases as Enhanced Conversions: the customer's email and phone are hashed before sending, which improves the match rate with Google accounts.

  • Toggle Enhanced Conversions on from the channel page.
  • Personal data is always hashed (SHA-256) before being transmitted. No raw data is ever sent.
  • Conversions are uploaded server-side, which bypasses browser blocking.

Consent required

Sending hashed data requires the ad_user_data consent signal. If this signal is denied, Trackful sends only the click identifiers (gclid), with no personal data.

To understand and configure this behavior, see our Consent Mode v2 guide.

Verify tracking

  • Send a test event from the Google Ads page.
  • Check delivery in your ad platform's interface (Events / conversions).
  • Once confirmed, leave the channel on for continuous tracking.
